Kings Announce 2014 Preseason Schedule

by Mike Kalinowski / Los Angeles Kings

LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings today announced their preseason schedule for the 2014-15 NHL season. The Kings are currently scheduled to play seven preseason games – including two at STAPLES Center – on September 22 versus the Phoenix Coyotes and September 25 versus the Anaheim Ducks.

In addition to the two home games at STAPLES Center, the Kings will “host” the Colorado Avalanche on October 4 as part of Frozen Fury 16 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The Kings play at Phoenix on September 22 (as part of a split-squad game), at Anaheim on September 28, at San Jose on September 30, and at Colorado on October 2 as part of the first-ever Battle of the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO.

Tickets for the two Kings preseason games at STAPLES Center are scheduled to go on sale later this summer. Tickets are currently on sale for the games in Colorado Springs and in Las Vegas.
