LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings today announced their 76-game television schedule for the 2006-07 season. Six networks – FSN WEST, FSN Prime Ticket, OLN/Versus, NBC, CBC and TSN - will combine to televise Kings games.

FSN WEST is the primary television network for the Kings. FSN WEST (along with sister-station FSN Prime Ticket) and the Kings are scheduled to televise 68 regular-season games -- with a total of 72 Kings games airing on FSN WEST/FSN Prime Ticket with the addition of the four Kings-Anaheim Ducks telecasts broadcast by Anaheim.

Kings television play-by-play announcer Bob Miller and color commentator Jim Fox will broadcast the Kings' home opener from STAPLES Center on October 7 versus St. Louis beginning at 7:30 p.m., with the first "Kings Live" post-game show to follow. Miller, a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, will return for his 34th season as the television "Voice of the Kings" and is again joined by Fox, the former Kings forward who is entering his 17th season as the club's television color commentator.

Bob Borgen is returning for his 17th season on Kings telecasts, serving as the producer, and Mike Hassan will direct the telecasts. In addition, the Emmy-award winning pre-game show "Kings Live" will air one half-hour prior to most home games with FSN WEST reporter Patrick O'Neal, with the first show scheduled to air on October 10 beginning at 7 p.m.

The Kings are scheduled to appear on national television in the US four times this season, with two games on NBC and two games on Versus (OLN officially changes to Versus on September 25). OLN will broadcast one home game – November 27 versus New Jersey -- and one road game – March 27 at San Jose. NBC will broadcast two road games – January 13 at St. Louis and April 1 at San Jose. In addition, the Kings will make two appearances on national television in Canada. CBC will televise the Kings-Edmonton game in Edmonton on January 27 and TSN will televise the Kings-Anaheim game at Anaheim on March 18.
