Kings Alumni to Raise Money for LAFD

The Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association will host a post game event on Sunday, Oct. 25, as the LAKAA face the the Los Angeles Fire Department in a hockey game to help raise money for the LAFD's relief association. The Kings will face the Columbus Blue Jackets earlier that evening with the puck dropping at 6 p.m.

WHO: Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association, LAFD
LAKAA Players (TBD)
Firefighters from throughout Southern California (LA City, LA County, Orange County, Ventura, etc)

WHAT: LAKAA vs. LAFD hockey game
Three 20-minute periods of running clock time LA City Fire Department Color Guard will be presenting the colors to start the game (prior to Kings-Blue Jackets game) Ceremonial puck drop with member of the LAFD (prior to Kings-Blue Jackets game)

WHEN:Sunday Oct. 25, 2009
Immediately following Kings-Blue Jackets Game


WHY: The LAKAA would like to show appreciation to local firefighters and help raise money for the LAFD’s Relief Association – Widows, Orphans and Disabled Firefighters Fund.

A portion of the proceeds from this group tickets offer are being donated*

Items will also be auctioned off by the Kings Care Foundation during the Kings-Blue Jackets game (on the STAPLES Center concourse)
