LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with restricted free agent right wing George Parros, Kings Senior Vice President/General Manager Dave Taylor announced today. Per club policy, terms of the agreement were not announced.
Parros, 25, set career highs with 14 goals and 247 penalty minutes while totaling 22 points (14-8=22) in 67 regular season contests with the Manchester Monarchs, the Kings' American Hockey League affiliate, during the 2004-05 season. The 6-5, 215-pound native of Randolph, New Jersey, added another two points (1-1=2) and 27 penalty minutes in six post-season games with the Monarchs.
The Kings selected Parros in the eighth-round (222nd overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
