LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Raitis Ivanans off the injured reserve list, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced Thursday.
Ivanans, 30, suffered an upper body injury during the Kings-Detroit game on February 27 and he has missed the club’s last five games. In 60 games this season, the 6-4, 256-pounder from Riga, Latvia, has two points – both goals – and a team-leading 115 penalty minutes.
The Kings are set to play in Vancouver tomorrow, Friday, at 7 p.m. before traveling to San Jose where they will face the Sharks on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network, and the Kings-Sharks game will also be broadcast on Prime Ticket. Fans can also tune into Facewash on LAKings.com following both contests.
