by Staff Writer / Los Angeles Kings
LOS ANGELES – The Los Angeles Kings have activated forward Scott Parse from the injured reserve list, Kings President/General Manager Dean Lombardi announced today.  Parse will be available for Game Five tomorrow at San Jose.

Parse, 26, missed 77 regular season games and the first four games of the Western Conference Quarterfinals with a lower body injury.  In the five regular season games he played (Nov. 4 through Nov. 15) he had four points (1-3=4), zero penalty minutes and a plus-5 rating.

The 5-11, 188-pound native of Portage, Michigan had 24 points (11-13=24) and 22 penalty minutes in 59 regular season games last season (his rookie year) with the Kings.  He was tied for 10th among NHL rookies in goals and tied for second among league freshman (first among forwards) with a plus-13 rating.

Parse was originally selected by the Kings in the sixth round (174th overall) in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
