In the Pipeline: Kale Clague

Kale Clague, who was drafted by the LA Kings in 2016, has made an impact in his first year with the organization.
"It was obviously a dream of mine to get drafted," Clague said. "And then to be picked by LA was even more special."

Clague described himself as "a skilled offensive puck-moving defenseman" who has vision and versatility.
His coaches and trainers only have positive things to say about him, as well.
"He handles the puck extremely well," Athletic Trainer Doug Crashley said. "He's today's new age defenseman."

Clague is hoping to get settled in Los Angeles and prove he can contribute to the lineup on both ends of the ice.
And the Ontario Reign's Head Coach Mike Stothers agrees.
"This is exactly what an organization needs."
