#IIHFWorlds Post Game: Marian Gaborik

by Julie Robenhymer / Los Angeles Kings

"The crowd was amazing tonight. Yesterday was the same. The first period wasn't what we expected it to be. The way we finished the game yesterday, we didn't carry it over, but after we started playing better we have a power play and penalty shot and a 5-on-3 so we just need to capitalize on our chances and score some goals. Fortunately, we got two big goals from Mezzy (Meszaros) - the tying goal and then the overtime goal. It was a big two points.

The fans are amazing. They give us support and they're our extra player.

We got four points out of six. That's still good. We have some big games coming up. We have to recover and we have to work on some things - mainly, power play and making sure we don't make their goalies all star goalies like we did these last two games. We just have to capitalize and now we get ready for Slovenia."
