Los Angeles - FSN PRIME TICKET has teamed with the Anaheim Ducks to provide local hockey fans with a brand new game viewing experience. While FSN PRIME TICKET carries traditional telecast coverage of the Ducks game against visiting rivals, the Los Angeles Kings, FSN WEST offers a compliment "Rinkside View" employing natural sounds and low camera angles to capture the action as seen from the front row.
Coverage of the Kings at Ducks begins on FSN PRIME TICKET at 6:30 PM with "FSN Live". At 7 PM, FSN PRIME TICKET begins its game coverage with Ducks game analyst Brian Hayward and play-by-play announcer John Ahlers in the booth. At the start of the game, the "Name the Rivalry" contest winner and rivalry name will be unveiled. The contest began on Saturday, September 29 during the Ducks-Kings event coverage from London?s O2 Arena.
"Rinkside View" begins at 7 PM on FSN WEST. Bringing the sights and sounds of Honda Center rinkside seating into the viewer's home, the hyper-local Ducks game viewing experience is centered on several cameras positioned rinkside. Hand-held cameras enhance the static positions, giving FSN WEST the mobility and flexibility to convey the at-the-boards, on-the-ice perspective authentically. "Rinkside View" on FSN WEST is available in HD.
Natural sounds of the game and the fans, as well as in-stadium announcements, provide the audio on "Rinkside View". No additional narration or on-screen graphics are included. To further the insider experience, "Rinkside View" features limited commercial breaks.
