Stoll-and-Armstrong

Several former LA Kings players dusted off their skates and headed to Glendale for their annual alumni game against the Arizona Coyotes.
Last year, Arizona won by 3 goals, so the Kings came into the game looking for revenge.
A few names on the Kings roster this year were: Luc Robitaille (ever heard of him?), Sean O'Donnell, Nelson Emerson, Jarret Stoll, Jamie Storr, Teddy Purcell, Derek Armstrong and Daryl Evans.
Armstrong, who is never at a loss for words, was mic'd up for the occasion.
Below are the top quotes from the game:

6. "Look at Luc haha!"
"You know how to play hockey #20?"
Always a good idea to chirp the president.
Nelson Emerson following Armstrong's lead and getting in on the action too.
5. "I'm on the board, Luc! You're up. Don't let me outscore ya!"
Don't test him...
4."I'm out of shape... Is it a good feeling when your head's light?"
Short answer: no.
3. "Patrick! Let's hear some cheers!"
"...Send it in an email, I can't hear ya."
Patrick O'Neal obviously wasn't doing a good job supporting from the stands.

2. "Stolly's slowed down a little this year from last."
Even though he "works on his abs everyday," according to Armstrong, he needs to work on his skating.
1. "I think it's the ice conditions. Everything's a lot slower."
Excuses, excuses, excuses...

It was a close game, that ended with another win for the Coyotes, who beat the Kings 9-7.
"We tried, we did everything we could," Stoll said.
Stoll and Armstrong each scored two goals and picked up an assist. It's a team sport... and we're not pointing fingers or anything... but maybe not everyone on the team pulled their weight.
"I got my three points, you got your three points, that makes six out of seven, so we did our job," Armstrong said to Stoll. A lot of chemistry brewing in this bromance...
Better luck next year, boys.
