Dave Joseph loves making a key moment in someone's life as special as possible.
So when Jimmy Kimmel reached out to ask if the LA Kings public address announcer could make the moment a little extra special for six new American citizens, Joseph jumped at the opportunity.
"I think becoming an American should be more exciting than a trip to the DMV," Kimmel said to the crowd before introducing Joseph to the crowd.
"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome your new American citizens," Joseph exclaimed as the crowd at Jimmy Kimmel Live roared in approval.
Kimmel and Joseph teamed up with Brad Paisley to give an unforgettable welcome to the six immigrants from Mexico, Tunisia, Pakistan, the Phillippines, Poland and Brazil.
Having the opportunity to introduce each new citizen was something that meant a lot to Joseph.
"Each of these people can always look back at this night," Joseph said. "They'll be able to watch and relive that moment forever. So, for me, it's about making this moment as big of a deal as possible -- bigger than life -- because it's something they'll remember forever."
This wasn't the first time that Joseph helped Kimmel with a memorable starting line-up introduction.
In 2018, Kimmel had Joseph introduce six new American citizens on Flag Day.
