The City Stars out-scored the competition 28-10 en route to a perfect 4-0 mark to win the Inline Series Championship on Dec. 9 at the East Valley YMCA at Dave Potell Memorial Hockey Rink in North Hollywood. In the Championship game, the City Stars skated away with a 7-3 victory the Dudes to win 100 level tickets to the Kings vs. Ducks on Jan. 24.

The City Stars advanced to the Championship by defeating the Tsagotsi's 7-5 in the first round, shutting out Parrot's Brew, 5-0 in the second round and easily defeating Super Cool 2000, 9-2 to advance to the Championship game vs. the Dudes.

The Dudes, meanwhile, advanced the championship with a narrow victory over Stung Drunk, 3-1, dominating Super Cool 2000 with an 11-1 win before a forfeit advanced them to the championship round.
