LOS ANGELES – Cirque du Soleil will present Friday night’s Kings-Boston Bruins game at STAPLES Center, it was announced Thursday by Kings President of Business Operations Luc Robitaille. Cirque’s “Corteo” show is playing at the Forum in Inglewood now until Oct. 28.

Worried about missing the Red Sox playoff game? Not to worry, the FOX Sports Sky Box at STAPLES Center opens at 4 p.m. so come out early and enjoy great food and drinks while watching the Red Sox-Indians Playoff Game.

“Cirque du Soleil is well known for putting on the most fascinating shows in the world,” said Robitaille. “It is great for Cirque and Corteo to be associated with the Kings, and Friday night for sure will provide an extra entertainment bonus for all of our fans at the game.”

As part of the Kings-Bruins game presented by Cirque du Soleil, a pre-game puck drop will take place with both team’s captains and a Cirque performer, and a special second intermission performance featuring a Cirque du Soleil performer will take place over center ice.

Additionally, fans can look for Cirque du Soleil ‘Angels’ on the main concourse before the game; the first 3,000 kids receive a free clown nose; and there will be Cirque du Soleil prizes given throughout the night.
