The 2019 version of Bark Madness began with 16 very, very good boys all going for the championship.
But only one could win the title of the top LA Kings dog.
After over145,000 votes in the four rounds of competition, the fans have made their choice clear.
Drink up from the Stanley Pup, Meatball Luff.
You deserve it.
Meatball Luff took down Cope Wagner in a rookie showdown for the ages.
The voting went back-and-forth, but Luff's die-hard supporters, affectionately known as the Meatball Maniacs, proved to be too much for Cope to cope with.
Meatball can finally end his Tournament diet.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support of Bark Madness. It's hard to believe this was the fifth year of the Tournament, and each year I'm overwhelmed by how many people vote and send in comments about how much they enjoy seeing the different side of the Kings players.
Bark Madness has grown since its rookie year.
Reaching another new high in total votes was unexpected, and we all truly appreciate the support.
And a sincere thank you to everyone at the Kings who helps make this possible.
The Tournament is a ton of fun, but remember that there are plenty of good boys and girls who need foster and permanent homes so they can spark joy for families.
We wholeheartedly support Wags and Walks and all of the amazing work they do to help adopt and place dogs in loving homes around the Los Angeles area.
