In anticipation of the upcoming playoffs, Bailey – the Kings mascot – will camp ‘24/7’ at L.A. LIVE across the street from STAPLES Center.
Once the Kings-San Jose game at STAPLES Center on Saturday night concludes, Bailey will walk across the street where he will remain until the start of Game 1. Bailey’s Playoff Camp Site – complete with an 18-foot camp trailer, a sofa, a TV, putting green, a picnic table, a fire pit, a bubble hockey game and the Kings Ice Rider vehicle – is presented by Travel Alberta.
Fans are encouraged to visit Bailey, who will give away Kings gifts and prizes, as well as play video games and mini-golf with fans.
“Bailey is our biggest fan and we thought this was a fun and creative way for our fans – especially our young fans -- to help build excitement as we approach these playoffs,” said Kings President, Business Operations Luc Robitaille.
