Bailey Cart

The debut of the Flyers' new controversial mascot, Gritty, has everyone talking about what makes a mascot successful.
This includes ESPN, which
ranked the top mascots
in the NHL for the 2018-19 season. Luckily for us, LA Kings' Bailey was at the top of the list.

Bailey, who was also ranked the number one mascot in the NHL for the 2017-18 season, is "known for his in-game antics against opposing fans that include popcorn showers," ESPN said. "Bailey has also roared into online feuds with everyone from C.M. Punk to hubristic hockey writers."

His twitter bio says it all:
"World's sassiest Lion with a little attitude on the side! 2time STANLEY CUP CHAMPION 12-14. I live tweet car chases."
Is there anything he can't do?

On top of being a character in the arena, Bailey is also building character outside the arena. He leads a group called
Bailey's Buddies
, a club that supports the Ace Bailey's Children's Foundation.
Those who join receive access to members-only events, swag, giveaways, game tickets and much more.

Other notable mascots in the league included Gnash the Sabretooth Tiger from the Nashville Predators, S.J. Sharkie from the San Jose Sharks and Iceburgh from the Pittsburgh Penguins.
We may be biased, but there's only one fuzzy animal that has our hearts.
