The 25th Annual Dave Taylor/Jim Fox Golf Classic will take place Monday June 24 at the Moorpark Country Club in Moorpark (11800 Championship Drive). The tournament is brought to you by the Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association Presented by Toyota, Kings Care Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Kings legends Dave Taylor and Jim Fox will once again host the tournament, which has raised more than $4 million for cystic fibrosis patient care and research. Proceeds this year will again go toward the fight against cystic fibrosis, a debilitating disease that affects more than 30,000 Americans. The money raised will help buy the science that will lead to a cure for the children and young adults suffering from this disease. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made remarkable advancements through substantial medical investments over the years. For the first time in the history of the disease, the CF drug pipeline has therapies under development that target the root cause of the cystic fibrosis.
Several Kings alumni will be attending the event (an official list will be announced later).
Kings fans can join the efforts by becoming a Corporate Sponsor of the event, Golf Participant, Tee/Green Sponsor and/or Awards Dinner Participant:
Registration and breakfast for the event is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. A cocktail reception will be held at 4:30 p.m. and the awards dinner will start at 6 p.m.
