At 7:30 p.m., those trying out must take the ice for the on-ice portion of the tryouts testing hockey skills and ability. Everyone must bring a warm-up suit, skates, gloves, stick and a helmet with a cage or facemask.
The LA Kings Chariot staff debuted more than 15 years ago and is a co-ed interactive group that represents the Los Angeles Kings organization at games and events throughout the community, including charitable functions, fan development events and promotional events. A main focus of the Chariot Staff is LA Kings Street Knights, a grass-roots street hockey program tailored toward teaching children the basic skills of hockey at community-based facilities and schools through the donation of equipment, training sessions and manuals.
