Sasha Guimond scored first for Vancouver and Hunter Shinkaruk picked up the game-winner.

Jets starting linup:

Forward: Lukas Sutter, Adam Lowry, Austen Brassard
Defense:  Josh Morrisey, Jacob Trouba
Goaltender: Juho Olkinuora

5:32 Zach Bell drops the gloves with Adam DeChamplain earning each of them five minutes for fighting.

9:06: Yasin Cisse and Mitch Elliot go at it in the second fight of the period, still locked in a scoreless battle. Each off for fighting.

16:15: With Canucks Kyle Hope in the penalty box, Austen Brassard put the Jets on the board thanks to a nice pass from Adam Lowry. 1-0 Jets.

Through 20 minutes, the Jets prospects are up 1-0 on the Canucks rookies and hold a 16-6 lead in shots on goal.

Shane Hnidy had a chance to catch up with Jets prospect Adam Lowry during the first period intermission:

"Its been nice getting your feet under it and get ready to play for the season. As a team, we've gotten better every game. It was a bit of a sloppy period but we'll pick it up next period. It's been nice to see the other teams prospects and also nice to get used to playing with guys who could be your future teammates."

5:26: Vancouver ties things up early in the second period as Sasha Guimond, who has two goals in as many games and five points in the tournament, finishes a quick tic-tac-toe play with Hunter Shinkaruk and Ludwig Blomstrand. 1-1

10:26: Goaltending change. Eric Comrie replaces Olkinuora in net.

After 40 minutes, the Jets and Canucks are all tied up 1-1. Total shots on goal through two periods 25-13 in favour of the Jets.

0:55: Nik Petan started the third period off with an early penalty as he went off for hooking. The penalty killers went back to work and with the help of strong goaltending by Comrie, the game remained tied.

3:46: The Jets would get a chance to go ahead on the power play with Tommernes headed to the box for roughing but couldn't find a way past Canucks goaltender Joacim Eriksson.

6:03: Jacob Trouba took his second penalty of the day this time for elbowing. Canucks pp unit went back to work but again, Comrie and his defenders kept the puck out of the net.

13:04: With Ryan Olsen in the box, Canucks' Hunter Shinkaruk made no mistake blasting the puck from the point off the iron and into the net to give the Canucks a 2-1 lead. Frankie Corrado picked up the helper on the play.
