Winnipeg, MB - True North Sports + Entertainment is pleased to host the annual Winnipeg Jets Toy Drive at the Jets' game on Dec.18th versus the Colorado Avalanche. For Jets fans who are unable to attend the Avs/Jets game, they are encouraged to bring a new unwrapped gift or cash donation to any Winnipeg Jets home game before Dec. 18th or to any of our Jets Gear locations (St.Vital, PoloPark, Kildonan Place, MTS Centre & MTS Iceplex).

Unwrapped gifts and cash donations will be collected upon entry into MTS Centre. All gifts and proceeds will be given to the Christmas Cheer Board in time for the holiday season. The Christmas Cheer Board provides Christmas hampers and toys to families receiving Employment Income assistance as well as many of the working poor. The Cheer Board has been in existence since 1919 and annually hands out approximately 19,000 hampers to those in need.
The Winnipeg Jets would like to remind fans there are tickets currently available to the fifth annual Winnipeg Jets Skills Competition on Dec. 16 at MTS Centre. The Skills Competition will see Winnipeg Jets players compete head-to-head in five skill events. The glass will once again be removed from the sides of the rink to give fans an up close and personal look at their Winnipeg Jets. Ticket prices are $20.00, $15.00 and $10.00, service charges included. Tickets are available through
