REVENGE
The Jets have to be feeling great after their hard fought 5-4 overtime win in Las Vegas the other day. But now they face a team that they outplayed badly but still lost 1-0 to back in November on home ice, the Arizona Coyotes. Winnipeg outshot Arizona 46-15 but Antoine Roussel's goal at 17:59 of the second period held up because of the play of Karel Vejmelka. The Czech netminder recorded his first NHL shutout that night and the Jets had 74 shot attempts.

DEMELO BACK WITH MORRISSEY
It was hard not to notice the changing of defence pairings on Sunday afternoon as Dylan DeMelo found himself alongside Josh Morrissey against the Golden Knights. That meant Nate Schmidt paired with Logan Stanley. Dave Lowry has reunited the long-time pairing after Morrissey played with Schmidt for the majority of the 2021-22 season. DeMelo and Morrissey did an amazing job shutting down Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl during their opening round playoff series and Lowry is hoping for more of the same now.
CONNOR KEEPS SCORING
The long break didn't hurt the hands of Kyle Connor who scored the over time winner on Sunday afternoon. Connor is tied for 11th in scoring and has done a lot of damage on the road this season. Kyle Connor leads the Jets in scoring on the road with 20 points (10G, 10A) in 14 games. He's the only Jets player with a double-digit point total on the road this season.
SVECH BACK IN
David Gustafsson was injured in the first period on Sunday afternoon after four shifts, he will miss tonight's game. That opens the door for Evegny Svechnikov to come into the lineup after missing the last two games for the Jets. Svechnikov was injured during Winnipeg's 5-2 loss to Washington on December 17th. Svechnikov will play on the left side of the fourth line with Dominic Toninato and Kristian Vesalainen.
COYOTES COMING OFF LOSS
The Coyotes sit in last place of the Central Division and only have six wins all season. They have lost six straight on home ice, however, they are coming off a game where they scored seven times but fell 8-7 to San Jose. Arizona will be without their best defenceman Jacob Chychrun and forwards Ryan Dzingel and Jay Beagle this evening.
