Hello Jets and Moose fans! I'm back from my post-season respite and it's great to be back in Winnipeg for the summer!
The rest and recuperation of seeing family and friends in Sandilands Provincial Park is always nice after a long hockey season. Getting some of mom's home cooking, especially her famous mixed berry salad with my favourite blueberries, is a real treat!
Since I've been back living the big city life, things have been busy. Even without two hockey teams to cheer on, my summer schedule stays jam-packed!

One of my favourite summer events happened just last week, with Tim Hortons Camp Day! Not only do I get to meet so many amazing people and help run the drive-thru at a Tim Horton's for part of the day, but all of the proceeds from the coffee that we served is helping kids go to summer camp! Maybe one day we'll have a Tim Hortons in my hometown so my moose friends can taste their delicious blueberry muffins.
The Pride Festival on June 2 was another exciting event to be at! I've been many times before, but it is so exciting every year to see the diversity that we have in Winnipeg and in Manitoba, and to see how many people are there to support each other. I think I even saw a few Moose Pride t-shirts and Jets specialty You Can Play jerseys with rainbow-coloured numbers in the crowd from this past season.

CAMP DAY | Mick E. Moose visits Tim Hortons

There are lots of events you can catch me at coming up in the next couple of weeks, including the 2019 Winnipeg Jets Draft Party on June 21 at Boston Pizza Cityplace! Here's some of the places I'll be visiting:
