Austen Brassard, RW – Manitoba (AHL)

Austen Brassard averaged a point per game over Manitoba’s last four-game homestand. The winger put up a goal, three assists and had a plus-minus rating of +2 over those last four games. In total the 22- year-old has put up six points (3G, 3A) in 15 games for the Moose this season. Brassard was selected by the Jets in the fifth round (149th overall) in the 2011 NHL Draft. Brassard is playing in his third season for the Jets’ AHL affiliate, having spent two seasons in St. John’s with the IceCaps and now being with the Moose this season.

Brendan Lemieux, LW – Barrie (OHL)

Brendan Lemieux has played seven total games for the Barrie Colts in the OHL this season, and the 19- year-old is averaging a point a game. Lemieux has put up five goals and two assists, and all seven of his points have come in the last four games. Lemieux recorded a hat trick on Saturday, Nov. 21/15 against the Flint Firebirds and was awarded the first star of the game. The next day, in the Colts’ game against the Saginaw Spirit, Lemieux managed to put up another two points, scoring a goal and recording an assist. This is the Denver, CO-native’s fourth season with the Colts. Lemieux was originally drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the second round (31st overall) in the 2014 NHL Draft. He was then traded to the Jets on Feb. 11/15 along with Drew Stafford, Tyler Myers and Joel Armia.

Jamie Phillips, G – Michigan Tech (WCHA - NCAA)

Jamie Phillips, who helped lead his Huskies to their first NCAA tournament appearance in 34 years last season, continues to be strong between the pipes for Michigan Tech. Phillips, who’s 22-years-old, has played in 12 games so far this season and has gone 7-4-1, with a .910 save percentage. Over his last four starts, Phillips is 2-1-1, having recorded a shutout against Alabama Huntsville for one of his wins. Phillips was drafted in 2012 in the seventh round (190th overall) by the Jets. Phillips and Tech currently sit in 19th in the NCAA men’s hockey rankings..
