WINNIPEG - Rick Bowness' message was taken to heart by his players, and it was evident in Tuesday's practice.
Following the tough 3-2 overtime loss to San Jose on Monday, the head coach kept his message simple in the room that night:
"'We move on. Tomorrow morning when you come to the rink, I want a positive attitude, I want us ready to go to work, and I want us to get ready for Minnesota.'"
So the Jets arrived at Canada Life Centre ready to do just that, and over the course of the 45-minute skate, they worked to prepare for a Wild team that has won both games against Winnipeg this season.
In the season series finale, the Jets want to flip that script.
"There's not really many moral victories at this point in the season," said Adam Lowry, reflecting on the loss to the Sharks. "We have to start getting results. But that's one you watch it back and you see what you did well and then you try and take it forward."
