Post-Game Quotes: Game 3

by Staff Writer / Winnipeg Jets

WINNIPEG JETS

Paul Maurice

On the energy:

"The energy in the building, that's as good of a building as I've ever seen in my life. And we had good jump and good legs because of it."

On bouncing back:

"We'll go through the things that were different in tonight's game than in the two previous games and we'll try and get as much of that in that next game."

On facing adversity:

"It's a tough hill to climb. The positives are we've had leads in all these games, so it's there. We're going to want to make sure we play with the same attitude we played with tonight in the next game, and we will."

Lee Stempniak

On the experience:

"An unbelievable building, right at the start, I don't think I've ever had anything like that before. And we fed off the energy, we had a great start."

Adam Lowry

On the loss:

"It's obviously another tough loss going into the third for the third time with a lead and blowing it late. So we know we can play with these guys obviously. We have a great group of guys in here, I don't think anyone's going to quit."

On what went well:

"I thought our power play started to generate some chances for us, and that was a good start for creating some momentum. I thought our PK did a good job of limiting their chances as well."

ANAHEIM DUCKS

Bruce Boudreau

On the Duck's winning ways:

"If you looked at our team's statistics you would never think that we ended up where we were, where we ended up. Yet they do have that innate sense of how to win."

On playing in the MTS Centre:

"Well it certainly was loud, and it certainly gave them energy. I don't know if we handled it great or not, but we handled it just enough to survive."

Frederik Andersen

On the win:

"It's not an easy building to play in, but we controlled our emotions pretty well. We were running around a bit to much in the second. But other than that I think we were good at slowing it down, and keeping our composure."

On the next game:

"We just got to get reset and take it as a new game. It's going to be just as important. and keep our emotions here in the next game. They are probably going to be even louder."

Ryan Kesler

On the comeback:

"We don't stop believing in that room. It's been like that all year. To do it in the playoffs in three straight games, it's pretty special."

On the fourth game:

"The hardest fought game yet, obviously the fourth one is the hardest. As heartbreaking as that was for them to lose in overtime in that fashion, I think both teams are going to regroup and forget about that one and play hard for the fourth one."
