WINNIPEG -The month of November means a different look on the ice for a number of Winnipeg Jets players.
It all started with Mathieu Perreault, who shaved off the beard he's had for a number of months on November 1, leaving only his moustache.
It's all part of Movember, a month dedicated to raising awareness for men's health issues.
"A lot of guys are having fun with it and supporting the great cause," said Perreault, who is confident his is best on the team.

Adam Lowry can't argue with Perreault on that one - even if Perreault didn't start from scratch at the start of the month.
"There is no cheating in this," said Lowry. "If you have a moustache like that I wouldn't expect you to shave it off."
Along with Perreault and Lowry, other Jets participating (with numbers growing by the day) include Blake Wheeler, Mark Scheifele, Jacob Trouba, Joe Morrow, Brandon Tanev, and Bryan Little.
Kyle Connor had one going during Wednesday's practice at Bell MTS Iceplex, but has since shaved it off.

"We're not too happy with that. He had a pretty good one going, so I'll give him the worst," said Scheifele, when asked to rank who had the worst moustache going.
"I think (Lowry's) is the funniest. He has a little red tinge in there. You can't even look at him across the table and not laugh."

PRACTICE | Mark Scheifele

Lowry had already spoken to the group of reporters prior to Scheifele, so while he didn't have a chance to defend himself against Scheifele's chirp, he thinks the worst moustaches are yet to come.
"I think it's all in good fun," he said. "Everyone's is kind of bad in its own unique way."
