Keaton Ellerby played with a number of defensive partners during his 51 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season. His versatility paid off, as the team’s management signed the 25-year-old defenceman to a one-year, two way contract with the team July 24, 2014.

Originally drafted 10th overall by the Florida Panthers in 2007, Ellerby has played a total of 211 NHL games for the Panthers, Los Angeles Kings, and Winnipeg Jets, along with 150 career AHL contests with the Rochester Americans.
