Jets trade Johnny Oduya to Blackhawks

The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have traded defenceman Johnny Oduya to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for their second and third round draft choices in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.
Oduya, 30, has played in 62 games with the Winnipeg Jets this season. In that time, he has recorded 13 points (2G, 11A) and 33 penalty minutes. The Stockholm, Sweden native has played in 445 career NHL games between New Jersey, Atlanta and Winnipeg for a career total 109 points (22G, 87A) and 222 penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Washington Capitals in the seventh round, 221st overall, in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.
