Jets reassign Eddie Pasquale, reactivate Al Montoya.

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have reassigned goaltender Eddie Pasquale to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

Pasquale, 22, was recalled by the Jets March 13/13. He will return to the IceCaps where he has played in 40 games so far this season. In that time, the Toronto, ON netminder has earned a 14-21-4 record, 2.69 goals against average and 0.909 save percentage.

During the 2011-12 season, Pasquale played in 38 games for the IceCaps accumulating a 23-12-1 record, 2.41 goals against average and 0.911 save percentage. As a result, he was named to the AHL All-Rookie Team and was selected as the IceCaps Top Rookie. He was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the fourth round, 117th overall, in the 2009 NHL Draft.
