Jets re-assign Cormier to IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced today they have re-assigned Patrice Cormier to the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League.

 
Cormier, 21, played in two games with the Winnipeg Jets since his recall on Dec. 29/11. The Moncton, NB native has now played in a career total 23 NHL games between Atlanta and Winnipeg for a career total two points (1g, 1a) and four penalty minutes.
 
Cormier returns to St. John's where he has played in 28 games this campaign for 13 points (9g, 4a) and 38 penalty minutes. He was originally drafted by New Jersey in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
