As the hockey world continues to wait for an update regarding the start of the National Hockey League season, Jets prospects continue to see game action overseas as well as here in North America.
Here is the update on those players, beginning in North America:

North America
Cole Perfetti's 28-day camp with Hockey Canada got underway on Nov. 16. The camp is part of the process that will determine who wears the maple leaf in the 2021 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship in Edmonton, Alberta.
With the recent announcement that Ivy League teams won't play their NCAA seasons due to the pandemic, Austin Wong - who would have been suiting up for his second season with Harvard - is now with the Fargo Force of the USHL. Wong, selected in the seventh round of the 2018 NHL Draft, has two goals and three points in two games with Fargo.
Harrison Blaisdell's second college season with the University of North Dakota is scheduled to get underway in December. Blaisdell and the Fighting Hawks will be one of eight teams playing in the Omaha pod from Dec. 1-20.
Similarly, goaltender Jared Moe and the University of Minnesota's Big 10 schedule will get underway this month. The eight games in the first half of the schedule begin with four home games for Minnesota. Moe played in 16 games with the Golden Gophers, racking up a 2.46 GAA and a 0.915 save percentage.
Another goaltender excited to get the NCAA season started is Logan Neaton, who plays in the Hockey East conference with the University of Massachusetts-Lowell River Hawks, where Connor Hellebuyck played for two seasons.
Neaton's second season gets underway on Nov. 27 when the River Hawks host Northeastern. In his first NCAA season, which started shortly after he was drafted in the fifth round by the Jets at the 2019 NHL Draft, Neaton played in three games and had a 3.85 GAA and a 0.869 save percentage.
Finland
Kristian Vesalainen is off to a strong start, with four goals and seven points in five games with HPK.
Ville Heinola is averaging nearly 19 minutes per game with Lukko and has eight assists in 13 games.
Joona Luoto, skating with HIFK, has an even split of four goals and four assists in 15 games.
Henri Nikkanen, a fourth-round pick in 2019, has played in 10 games with Jukurit and has racked up four points.
Wrapping up the prospects playing in Liiga, Santeri Virtanen has two goals and four points in 14 games with SaiPa and is averaging 16:47 of ice time per game.
Sweden
Over in Sweden, David Gustafsson is close to a point-per-game average with Tingsryds of the AllSvenskan League. The 2018 second round pick has four goals and 12 points in 13 games, the third most on his team.
Goaltender Arvid Holm continues to have a strong season with Farjestad in the SHL. His 2.64 goals against average is ninth best in the league, while his 0.921 save percentage is third best.
Sticking with the SHL, defenceman Simon Lundmark - Winnipeg's second round pick in 2019 - has two assists in seven games with Linkoping.
Two players selected in the 2020 NHL Draft are dealing with injuries. Defenceman Anton Johannesson has yet to play this season after having surgery, but Cheveldayoff said after October's NHL Draft that he's hopeful Johannesson will be able to play in December. Winger Daniel Torgersson had nine points in 10 games with Frolunda HC J20 (and played two games at the SHL level, also for Frolunda) before his injury took him out of the line-up.
Germany
Leon Gawanke's DEL season has yet to get underway, but the 21-year-old did see his first action since March 2020 in the Deutschland Cup. His German squad fell in overtime to Latvia in the final game, but Gawanke did record an assist in the loss.
Skyler McKenzie is one of the most recent Jets prospects to head overseas. He's suited up in four games for Freiburg in DEL2 and has two goals and three points in four games.
Russia
Mikhail Berdin's season continues with SKA Saint Petersburg in the KHL. Berdin has a 6-3-2 record and a 0.916 save percentage to go along with a 2.49 GAA.
Slovakia
Marko Dano has played three games with HK Dukla Trencin in Slovakia. So far, he has two goals and three points in two games.
