With the early puck drop of 3 pm CT, the Jets will not hold a morning skate on Friday. Instead, they opted to hit the ice for practice Thursday, and skated for 25 minutes, slightly longer than the average morning skate.
"I got what I wanted out of them on the ice. Three drills, the last one done well, then nothing else," said head coach Paul Maurice. "I think we accomplished what we were supposed to today. We looked at some penalty kill video, two or three things we did well from the game, and couple things we want to address."
The Jets line combinations looked the same as they did to begin the night against the Kings:
Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Ehlers-Little-Laine
Copp-Lowry-Tanev
Perreault-Hendricks-Armia
Morrissey-Trouba
Chiarot-Byfuglien
Kulikov-Myers
The only difference from Monday's line-up will be in goal, where Connor Hellebuyck (11-2-2, 2.45 goals against average) will get his 16th start of the regular season.
