Winnipeg, MB - The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club has loaned Manitoba Moose centre Jack Roslovic to USA Hockey for the 2017 IIHF World Junior Championship selection camp. The United States will play its first pre-tournament game on Dec. 21 against Switzerland in Oshawa, Ont.

Roslovic, 19, leads the Moose in scoring this season with 19 points (8G, 11A) in 25 games. The native of Columbus, Ohio, is in his first professional season after playing last year with Miami University of Ohio. The Jets selected Roslovic 25th overall at the 2016 NHL Draft while a member of the United States National Team Development Program. Roslovic helped Team U.S.A. to gold medals at the World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in 2014 and at the IIHF World U18 Championship in 2015 where he was named one of his team's top three players.
Roslovic and forward Erik Foley, whom the Jets selected in the third round, 78th overall at the 2015 NHL Draft, are among the 27 players on the United States' preliminary roster for the IIHF World Junior Championship which runs Dec. 26, 2016-Jan. 5, 2017 in Toronto and Montreal.
