Jets announce newest winner of JetsTV Kid Reporter contest

The Winnipeg Jets are excited to introduce – Nine year old Alyssa Jansen of Winnipeg, MB as the newest winner of the JetsTV Kid Reporter. Alyssa will take over duties from Brooke Ratz who did an amazing job as the inaugural winner of the contest last season.

As the winner of this year’s JetsTV Kid Reporter Contest, Alyssa will have the opportunity to meet and interview players and staff from the Winnipeg Jets. Her interviews will be featured on JetsTV and winnipegjets.com. Alyssa’s video was chosen from over 35 video entries submitted for this second JetsTV Kid Reporter Contest.

Speaking on behalf of the Winnipeg Jets, Director, Digital & Marketing Services Andrew Wilkinson said, “Once again we were very impressed with the positive response to our latest JetsTV Kid Reporter Contest including the quality and creativity of the video entries. There were many passionate and talented young candidates and the Winnipeg Jets are very appreciative for everyone that took the time to participate this year.”

Jets fans are encouraged to follow JetsTV in the coming months for Alyssa’s interviews, which will be posted throughout the course of the season.
