The Winnipeg Jets announced today that they have acquired forward Paul Stastny from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a first-round draft pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, forward Erik Foley and a conditional fourth-round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.

Stastny, 32, has played 63 games for the Blues this season and has 40 points (12G, 28A). The Quebec City, Quebec native has played 805 career games for St. Louis and the Colorado Avalanche, recording 633 points (216G, 417A) and 380 penalty minutes. Stastny has also played in 55 career playoff games, scoring 14 goals and adding 21 assists for 35 points. He was selected to the 2007 NHL All-Rookie Team and played in the 2008 and 2011 NHL All-Star Games. Internationally, Stastny represented the USA at the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics and 2007, 2012 and 2013 World Championships.
Stastny was drafted by the Avalanche in the second round (44th overall) in the 2005 NHL Draft.
