A week at home had the Winnipeg Jets split their two games falling short to the Blue Jackets Tuesday night, but coming out on top against the Wild late Friday.
Off the ice, the Jets' had their ups and downs as well, as the week kicked off with a devastating loss to many, the passing of The Tragically Hip's Gord Downie. Serving as a staple in many of their lives, players took moments to reflect on the impact Gord had on them.
As the week progressed, things took a turn for the better leading to a variety of celebrations, both gameplay related, and not.
Blake Wheeler saw his 200th Career NHL Goal, which led the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-3 win against Minnesota.
That win served as Head Coach Paul Maurice's 600th in the league!
It was Blake's son's fifth birthday the next day which had him in a celebratory mood.
Now on a 5-day break between games, the Jets had the day off on Sunday, which led Patrik Laine to celebrate the season…
While Adam Lowry and Nikolaj Ehlers enjoyed some rest and relaxation with those closest to them.
