The St. John’s IceCaps today announced they have signed goaltender Scott Greenham (GREHN-um) to a professional tryout contract.
Greenham, 25, has played 34 games for the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL so far this season, posting an 11-18-2 record, a 3.33 goals against average and a .910 save percentage.
The University of Alaska-Fairbanks product was signed by the Condors on March 16, 2012, appeared in three games and recorded back-to-back wins to start his pro career. Greenham earned two separate call-ups to the AHL last season, the first by Houston and the second by Hershey, seeing action in two games with each club.
