The St. John’s IceCaps announced today they have agreed to terms with Jason Jaffray, Josh Lunden and Kael Mouillierat on new contracts. As per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Jaffray, 31, played in 65 games with the IceCaps last season. In that time, the veteran left-winger collected 48 points (15G, 33A) and 55 penalty minutes. The Olds, AB native has played in 426 career AHL games between Norfolk, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Cleveland, Manitoba, Abbotsford and St. John’s for 351 career points (148G, 203A) and 369 career penalty minutes. He has also played in 49 career NHL games between Vancouver, Calgary and Winnipeg for 11 points (4G, 7A) and 40 penalty minutes.
Lunden, 27, played in 31 games with the IceCaps last season. In that time, the Port Coquitlam, BC native recorded 18 points (8G, 10A) and 33 penalty minutes. He has played in 65 career AHL games between San Antonio, Peoria, Houston and St. John’s for 21 career points (8G, 13A) and 53 career penalty minutes.
Mouillierat, 25, played in 50 games with the IceCaps last season. In that time, the Edmonton, AB native recorded 42 points (11G, 31A) and 32 penalty minutes. He has played in 100 career AHL games between Texas, Bridgeport and St. John’s for 67 career points (19G, 48A) and 81 career penalty minutes.
