"It feels good," said Scheifele, who has three goals and five assists since he returned from an upper-body injury two weeks ago against the Blues. "It definitely feels weird getting back on the plane and staying in a hotel after being in your own bed for over a month. It feels good and hopefully we can have a good road game tonight."

Winnipeg starts a three-game run against Central Division opponents tonight with their tilt in St. Louis. Saturday will see them in Dallas, and next Tuesday they will host Nashville. The Jets are 9-6-2 against division opponents this season, but are 4-5-1 in their last 10.
With a win tonight, the Jets would be nine points ahead of the Blues in the standings and will still hold a game in hand. Jets head coach Paul Maurice is expecting a real battle between the Central Division clubs through the stretch drive.
"Veteran teams that will wind themselves up and we're going to get their best," said Maurice. "I think you're going to see this kind of push over the last five weeks. It's going to be that (type of) intensity, that playoff game every night."

Of the 10 consecutive games the Jets played at home, the 5-2 loss to the Blues on Feb. 9 stands out as the one that stung the most. St. Louis came into that game having played the night before at home, and the Jets couldn't take advantage.
"We know these guys come hard and they caught us kind of flat last time at home," admitted defenceman Ben Chiarot. "I think we can expect a pretty good effort from our guys tonight."
The pre-game skate featured no line rushes and was also missing the presence of Dustin Byfuglien and Connor Hellebuyck, who are both good to go this evening. Hellebuyck had mentioned after the loss to the Kings that he might go back to his old routine of skating the day before a game, and then taking the morning skate off on game day.
Based on Tuesday's game against Los Angeles the lines should look like this:
Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Perreault-Little-Roslovic
Ehlers-Copp-Laine
Petan-Hendricks-Armia
Morrissey-Myers
Enstrom-Byfuglien
Chiarot-Kulikov

Winnipeg is now four points back of Nashville for top spot in the Central with both teams having played 60 games. Meanwhile, the Blues are sitting in the final wild card spot in the Western Conference, one point ahead of the Kings. The division remains one of the most competitive of the four in the NHL with only seven points separating second and fifth place.
"We've had a really good home record. It's a different animal now," said Maurice. "Matchups are important, but all of these (Central) teams have two or three really good, powerful lines and a checking line that can grind. There are not a lot of holes here to exploit in terms of getting the match-up."
Puck drop is set for 7 pm CT.
