For the second consecutive season, Winnipeg Jets captain Blake Wheeler finished with 91 points, tying his career-high.
The 32-year-old right-winger has had 74 or more points in each of his last four seasons and has hit the 20-goal mark every season since the 2013-14 campaign.
In 860 career games, Wheeler has 242 goals and 696 points. He's also been a constant in the Jets line-up, in that the team's captain has missed just four games since the start of the 2013-14 season - with only one of those coming in the last four seasons.
He doesn't plan on slowing down any time soon.
"I'm not taking games off to preserve gas in the tank. We have plenty of gas in the tank- especially physically," Wheeler said at his end-of-the-season availability. "I think sometimes especially with how the season ended and some of the hard times we had coming down the stretch, I think sometimes you get a little bit mentally fatigued of trying to push over the hump, get over the hump. I'll play every game every year that I can. I'm built for it."
Here are some of the numbers that stand out from Wheeler's 2018-19 season:
4 - Recorded his first career four-goal game on Mar. 3, 2019 in Columbus
