The poor weather this weekend was not enough to put the I.C.E. Tour to a halt. On both Saturday and Sunday, the I.C.E. Tour battled the elements as they headed out to two big events. On Saturday, the Islanders SUV went up to Teddy Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay to be a part of one of Long Island's most famous events, the Oyster Fest. The festival, which is really a giant food festival, is full of great tasting food, music, and fun. The slap shot booth was up and running for fans to test their skills out at and everyone who stopped by the Islanders booth was able to walk away with a great prize.

On Sunday, even with the weather getting increasingly unpleasant, the I.C.E. Tour did not stop. The moonbounce was up and running in Eisenhower Park for all the children at the Long Island Lupus Walk to enjoy. Sparky the Dragon and some of the Ice Girls were also on hand to enjoy the event and not let the weather dampen their spirits while raising money for a great cause.
