The "We're All Islanders" school assembly program made another stop on Tuesday, this time out in Rocky Point.  Steve Webb and his friends Monica the Ice Girl and Sparky headed out east to stop by Joseph Edgar Elementary to talk to all the young students about the importance of teamwork.  When they arrived into the gym, they found it covered with Islander banners, including one made by students.  As the students filed into the gym, many showed their Islander pride by wearing their jerseys to school, proud of the recent win over the rival New York Rangers.  The faculty also showed that they are all Islanders as well, wearing Islander jerseys and tee shirts rather than their usual attire.  Webb and the gang spoke to over 900 kids, explaining how working with one another can help not only in athletics, but also in everyday life.  Students enjoyed a video of the current Islanders explaining team work as well as some fun demonstrations involving dressing a student in goalie equipment and getting a nice loud “Let’s Go Islanders” chant going.  All the students had a great time and each received an Islander gift bag with some great giveaways and some information about the upcoming Town of Brookhaven night where everyone within the township can receive huge discounts on tickets to the game.
