Top Goal of the 2013 Season: Thomas Hickey's OT winner

The votes have been tallied, and fans have selected Thomas Hickey's overtime game-winning goal on Feb. 21 at Montreal as the top goal of the 2013 season. The play beat out John Tavares' Game 4 winner against Pittsburgh in the finals of the three-round tournament. Thanks everyone for voting!

READ: HICKEY'S OT WINNER COMPLETES ISLANDERS COMEBACK AT MONTREAL, 4-3

After coming back from two separate two-goal deficits, the Islanders forced overtime, where John Tavares led a 3-on-2 attack into the Montreal zone. A falling Tavares pushed the puck to Michael Grabner, who found Hickey just outside the crease for his first NHL goal.
