The New York Islanders announced today that the team will play the Blue & White Scrimmage at Nassau Coliseum on Thursday, July 10 at 7 p.m. Fans will have the opportunity to see the organization’s top prospects compete in an intra-squad game and see the players take part in a post-game skills competition. The night will conclude with an autograph session, open to all attendees.
Tickets to the Blue & White Scrimmage are now on sale to the general public. Fans can CLICK HERE to purchase tickets, priced at $10, with all proceeds going towards the Islanders Children’s Foundation.
Season ticket holders and prospective season subscribers will have exclusive VIP access throughout the Blue & White Scrimmage, as well as exclusive access to all on-ice sessions during the 2014 Islanders Mini Camp. Access includes preferential seating along the glass and the ability to high five the players as they enter and exit the ice during the scrimmage. On-ice practices at the 2014 Islanders Mini Camp are scheduled for July 8 and 9 at Nassau Coliseum. Season ticket holders and prospective season subscribers should contact an Islanders ticket representative for a full list of practice times and to gain exclusive entry to the on-ice sessions.
The Blue & White scrimmage will feature the 2014 Islanders draft class, as well as top prospects Griffin Reinhart (2012, 4th overall selection), Ryan Pulock (2013, 15th overall selection), Andrey Pedan (2011, 63rd overall selection), Adam Pelech (2012, 65th overall selection) and Taylor Cammarata (2013, 76th overall selection). Fans will also recognize several young players who played with the Islanders last season, including Kevin Czuczman, Mike Halmo and Scott Mayfield.
