Tyler Pitlick scored two goal and Jamie Benn added a goal and an assist as the Dallas Stars built a 5-0 lead and defeated the Isles 5-2 before a crowd of 10,316 at Barclays Center.
Kari Lehtonen made 32 saves to record his 300th NHL victory; he's the 2nd NHL goalie to do so in two nights (Cam Ward did it Tuesday). Anders Lee had both goals for the Isles, as he re-took the team goal lead from John Tavares.

The Isles allowed the first goal for the 20th time in 31 games (6-11-3) …The Isles killed the only Dallas power play, and connected for their first power play goal in four games on Lee's second tally… Jaroslav Halak was pulled after the fourth Dallas goal and suffered his first defeat in a start at Barclays Center this season(5-1-0); it's the first time he has been pulled from a game since December 29, 2016 in Minnesota… Josh Bailey (5-30-35) retained his one point lead over John Tavares (18-16-34) as both players earned two assists; it's the third time in his career that Bailey has recorded at least 30 assists…Bailey's first assist was his team-leading 13th primary assist; with the 2 points he passed Pierre Turgeon for 17th place on the Isles scoring list (341-340). .. Tavares' two assists allowed him to pass Stefan Persson for 8th place in team assists (318-317)...In addition to recording his 300th win, Lehtonen also passed Miikka Kiprusoff for 1st place on the all-time list of Finnish-born goalies…Anders Lee recorded his team leading 5th multi-goal game…Josh Bailey moved into a tie for the NHL lead in assists (30) and also now leads the NHL in assists/60 minutes (3.26)…Both Bailey and Lee now have three-game point streaks...
