Ryan Pulock scored the winning goal with 41 seconds to play as the Islanders overcame a Flyer rally to earn a 5-3 win over the Philadelphia Flyers before a crowd of 12,228 at Barclays Center.
The Isles had grabbed a 3-0 lead in the first period, but Sean Couturier capped a Flyer rally with the tying goal with 92 seconds to play. The Isles kept playing and Mathew Barzal's third assist of the night set up Pulock for the winning tally. Leo Komarov added a goal into the empty net with seconds to play to seal the victory.
The Isles improve to 33-16-6; their 72 points matches last year's Islander team for the 2nd-highest total of points thru 55 games in the Post-Cup era (73 in 2014-15).
