Ted Nolan
Newsday writer Anthony Rieber has a column on newsday.com asking the question: who is the best coach in New York?

Rieber has his personal rankings for Ted Nolan, Tom Renney, Willie Randolph, Tom Coughlin, Isiah Thomas, Eric Mangini and Joe Girardi and newsday.com has also posted a fan poll.

Naturally, Ted Nolan is in first as of Wednesday morning, followed by Renney and Randolph.

Islanders fans: let's keep Ted in first!

Nolan is the man who led the Islanders to the playoffs last season – against the predictions of many of the experts – and has the Islanders poised for an exciting second half run. He's also the definition of grit, character and heart and as committed to the Long Island community as any player or coach in professional sports.

Let your voices be heard, Islanders Country!
