Tavares Practices on Fourth Line, Top Power-Play Unit

Team Canada held its first practice today in Sochi. John Tavares was spotted playing left wing with Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry, but also spent time centering a line with Patrice Bergeron and Jamie Benn.TSN's Ryan Rishaug also reported that Tavares was playing on the top power-play unit with Sidney Crosby and Chris Kunitz.

Chris Kunitz – Sidney Crosby – Jeff Carter

Patrick Sharp – Jonathan Toews – Rick Nash

Patrick Marleau – Ryan Getzlaf – Corey Perry

Jamie Benn – John Tavares – Patrice Bergeron
