Sunday is Rink Day in Bellmore

The Islanders Summer I.C.E Tour rolls into Bellmore this weekend for another exciting New York Islanders Rink Day! Islanders Chris Campoli and Joey MacDonald, and Bridgeport Sound Tigers assistant coach Pat Bingham will be on hand to guest coach and enjoy the festivities with all of the fans Sunday at Newbridge Arena.


There will be a variety of activities at this free event, including hockey and coaching clinics, interactive games, Islanders inflatables, free barbeque, and fun with Sparky the Dragon and the Islanders Ice Girls!

Registration for the event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. The rest of the day will break down like this:

11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Registration and I.C.E. (Islanders Community Events) Tour
1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m.: 8 years old and younger
2:00 p.m. -2:30 p.m.: 9 - 12 years old
2:30 p.m.-3:00 p.m.: 13 and older
Coaching Clinic: 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.


(Full equipment is required to participate in the hockey drills.)


So be sure to come down to Newbridge Arena this Sunday—located at 2600 Newbridge Road in Bellmore—for all of the fun!
