STEVE WEBB AND FAMILY FUN FEST HELP CHILDREN'S SPORTS FOUNDATION

by Staff Writer / New York Islanders

Islander alumni Steve Webb took time out of his very busy schedule again last night to make a stop at Islanders IceWorks in Syosset to lend a hand at the Children’s Sports Foundation fundraiser.  The Children’s Sports Foundation was created to provide financial assistance to those children who come from homes where that are in the midst of a family crisis.  Along with Webb, the Family Fan Fest, including an Ice Girl and Sparky were on hand to help raise money for the foundation.  The Fan Fest offered fans some great giveaways and Steve went around chatting with the crowd and signing autographs.  Samantha the Ice Girl pitched in and helped the foundation by selling 50/50 raffle tickets to fans in attendance while Sparky entertained the children with some dancing.  All in attendance had a chance to win an autographed Mike Sillinger jersey.  For more information about he Children’s Sports Foundation, visit them on the web at http://www.cscny.org
